Ahlmeyer / Healea Annual Scholarship For Excellence in Academics and Community Service

Established in 2019 by Irene Healea to memorialize the lives of her brothers Lieutenant Heinz Ahlmeyer, Jr. and William Ahlmeyer and to celebrate their contributions to community. This fund will be used to support undergraduate and or graduate non-tuition educational expenses.

Applicants must be matriculated and attending full-time or part-time (part-time must have a minimum of 6 credits per semester).

Recipients must be a US Military Veteran or a US Service member. In a given year if there are qualified Veterans, a scholarship may be awarded to a dependent of a US Military Service Member.

Recipients must have attained a class standing above Sophomore at the time the award is given or have been enrolled for one year if they are at Graduate school level. A GPA of 3.5 is expected and they should show evidence of leadership in and contribution to the life of the College and / or be active in off-campus community activities.
