William and Helen Kochant Writing Endowment

Established through a bequest from William and Helen Kochant, this scholarship will provide support for students who are fully matriculated with full time enrollment and majoring in Early Childhood & Childhood Education or an equivalent undergraduate program of study in Education. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a faculty member in the School of Education as well as a essay highlighting their interest in and application of children’s literature in education or interest in writing children’s literature.
