School of Education Scholar Award
Established in 2006 by the School of Education Advisory Council to assist students by offsetting the the cost of textbooks. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need. Recipients will be a full-time undergraduate or part-time graduate student (6 credit minimum per semester) accepted into the School of Education, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 for undergraduate or 3.2 for graduate student. Undergraduate students must have completed 60 or more credits and preference for a Junior or Senior year. Awards will be divided between two semesters of study.

Funding for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic year will be provided through the generous donation of Judith Watkins Alper in honor of her parents and alumni Albert Watkins’43 and Alice Watkins ’43.
