David Mano '22 Annual Travel Scholarship

Established by Dr. Joan M. Mano in memory and honor of David Mano ’22. This Fund was established to help undergraduate and graduate students cover the costs of traveling to regional and national conference or exhibitions to present, exhibit, or perform their scholarly work. Students will be full time or part time, matriculated at SUNY New Paltz. Awards will be offered at the start of each semester for reimbursement of expenses following conference travel. Reimbursement is contingent upon receipts. Applications are open during the semester of travel, fall and spring.

Please note: All payments require students to fill in a W9 (W8BEN for international students) – these funds are taxable. Reimbursements follow government guidelines https://www.gsa.gov/travel with the exception of mileage. The SUNY New Paltz Foundation only accepts gas receipts for car travel and will not reimburse mileage. If you have questions about what is allowable, please email npscholarships@newpaltz.edu

To apply to this scholarship students must complete the conditional application for Conference Travel Funding that auto populates when Conference Travel Funding is selected in the General Application.
