Edward Ginsberg '67 '69g Annual Fund for the Teaching of History & Social Science

Established in 2024 to support and encourage SUNY New Paltz students of education with a non tuition scholarship who wish to pursue teaching history and/or social science. Recipients will be full-time, matriculated undergraduate or graduate level students enrolled at SUNY New Paltz who are majors in Education with a concentration or a secondary major in History. History majors with a double major in Education will also be considered. Qualified applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be in good standing. Financial need will be taken into consideration but is not required for this award. Students have the option to renew their scholarships through application each year.
