Leslie Peter Wulff '70 Annual Scholarship for Excellence in Fiction Writing

The Leslie Peter Wulff ’70 Annual Scholarship for Excellence in Fiction Writing was created to support and encourage SUNY New Paltz Creative Writing students with with a non-tuition scholarship. Recipients will be full-time, matriculated undergraduate students in good standing who are majoring in English with a minor or concentration in Creative Writing. Qualified applicants must be rising juniors or seniors, with a GPA of 3.0 or better. Strong preference will be given to students whose interest is in fiction writing, including science fiction, and whose work encompasses themes of social justice, equity, inclusivity, or similar concerns for social well-being of the individual and society. The scholarship recipient will have demonstrated strong creative potential. Financial need will also be taken into consideration but is not a requirement for the award.
