Lori A. Beer Endowed Scholarship for Promoting Diversity in Education Professions

Established by Lori Beer in 2019, the scholarship was created in order to promote diversity in education professions. The funds will be used for support of non-tuition educational expenses such as fees, books, room and board. Recipients shall be selected annually during the spring semester. Applicants must be full matriculated at SUNY New Paltz and attending either full time or part time (min.6 cr. per semester) at either the graduate or undergraduate level. Recipients must carry a GPA of 3.0 or greater. Preference will be given to students with a math or science education focus. Preference will also be given to those who can demonstrate financial need.
